Chapter 1

In her past life, Little Ant was a woman in Tang Dynasty. She died because she accidentally fell into the river. As a result, her fiancé did not eat nor drink and starved himself to death.

So the Little Ant work hard for hundred years, only to ask God for a chance to go back. Hoping to save this tragedy.

But who knows, that Little Ant was ready to go back happily to meet her fiancé, she is devastated by Ding Xiang's careless palm and ruined everything ....

Under the uneasiness of conscience, Ding Xiang just nodded her head.

Before she’s could to talk out the terms beforehand, her entire body was thrown back to Tang Dynasty by Little Ant.

    "Hey! I have not pack anything yet!" Ding Xiang grumbled. She came out without preparing her luggage or her bag. It's super insecure.

    "It doesn't matter. It's no use bringing those things here."

Oh yes, because all those stuffs needed to use electricity, and here .... Ding Xiang looked up at the sky .... There will have electricity if only when there is a thunder.

   “I don’t think I can survive this.” 

Ding Xiang is a modern beautiful young lady; she plays phone, plays computer. She has not received any professional training about living in ancient life.

Before that she saw on the TV that some villages had no electricity or even tap-water. She told her mom that even to drink water, would have to find a well. This is so hard... Her mom said she’s very lucky.

    “No matter how, if you don’t help me, you can’t go back!” Little Ant interrupted.

    “What?! How should I tell my mom about my disappearance? Tell her that I’m helping an ant to return back to ancient times?!” Ding Xiang argued back.

    “I have set the time for you. A year here is an hour of your time.”

    Ding Xiang’s eyes were wide open.  “Really?”

    “So you don’t have to worry.”

Don’t worry? Who would actually believe an ant's word?

    “After I’ve dealt with him for you, and I can go home?”

    “Yes.”

    “The sooner it’s done, the quicker I can go home?”

    “That’s right.”

    “Okay, tell me. What is the problem? I’ll try my best to settle for you. What’s so serious about him that you can’t let it go?”

    “He’s a man full of affection and justice.”

Oh! That seems to be very easy. This can easily solve everything.

    “That is great!”

    “But too much, it’s not good.”

    “I agree.”  Because he would starve himself to death for his fiancée.

Ding Xiang looked at the shabby hut ..... It can't be said that it is empty, because the garbage is all over the floor, there are a lot of wreckages everywhere. Dirty clothes are all littered around, and clearly it is a man's nest.

    "Ahem── Even if your beloved ant... no, I mean your beloved fiancée ......." Ding Xiang glanced at the ant on the table, then coughed softly and continued, "She was dead, but don't worry. She's not now."

    When ant's fiancé- Wen Xiong heard this, he was so excited and he slammed his hand on the table. "Really? She's not dead?!!"

    "Ah──!" Ding Xiang opened her mouth and looked at the ant crushed by his big hand. She stunned for a while and didn't know what to say.

Err.... Should I tell him that she's dead now or no?

    She put out her hand, pointed at his palm and whispered,  "Don't think killing an ant is small matter."

Wen Xiong looked at his hand and indeed there was a body of a small ant on his palm.

    "It's just an ant...." Wen Xiong murmured.

    "Your fiancée was turned into an ant, and I happened to be like you too, accidentally killed her. So, she came to me as an ant spirit and asked me for help. But now that you beat her to death, I will hand her over to you. Bury her well!  I'll leave first. Don't need to send me."

Since Little Ant spirit has disappeared after leaving her alone here, there’s no other reason for her to stay any longer. Might as well better to leave this ghost place as soon as possible.

After speaking, Ding Xiang showed a smile, humming a song in a very mood and walk out. Leaving the ancient man behind with a blank face, standing at his spot without moving, looked at the squashed ant on his palm.

    "Xiao San, should I believe it? But I really want to believe this woman who somehow appeared in front of me for some reason.... because I miss you so much...."

Wen Xiong really wanted to believe what the strange woman said, but if he did, wouldn’t he had just crushed his own fiancée by himself?

Thinking of this, the sad man’s tears rolled down.

A voice alarmed him suddenly. He was surprised and turned to look at the woman who was humming happily earlier, had just returned.  But she looked damn pissed now.

Ding Xiang originally thought that the Little Ant had already disappeared. So she could run away. But didn’t expect that little witch was actually laying outside waiting....  Damn ──!

    "Why you..... " Wen Xiong was just about to speak, suddenly he saw a shadow coming in behind Ding Xiang. That familiar figure, he could never forget.... The Love of His Life.

    “Xiao San!”

    “Wen Xiong-ge!”

    Two people calling to each other affectionately, and Xiao San ran into Wen Xiong’s arms. Ding Xiang coldly looked at the couple and her heart muttered: Ohh! In front of the boyfriend, act so pitiful. But when I first met her, she was like a devil and monster! So fierce to me!

As soon as Ding Xiang about to walk out, she saw that Ant making some threatening gestures at her; forcing her to walk back obediently.

That is why people always said: Do not offend women.

    “Xiao San, what is going on here?” Wen Xiong gently wiped the tears on his fiancée‘s face. Although it was abit cold, but it was real. He touched and stroke her face, she was real..

    Before Xiao San was about to respond, Ding Xiang interrupted, “ I’ll go out for some fresh air first. You guys will have a lot to talk about, because she took three days and three nights to explained everything to me.”

Xiao San warns her with her fiery eyes – ‘Do not try to run away.’

Ding Xiang also responded with her big eyes – ‘This is your territory. Where can I go duh…?’

Is ancient era! It’s not overseas.

Ding Xiang walked out of the small, broken, dirty and messy hut again. Slowly walked into the night.....

Ding Xiang found that there are no high-rise buildings, electric poles and road nearby. Only a large field that seemed to be endless.

Every acres of field were planted with green seedlings. Flickered under the bright moonlight with a flashing pink-green light.

The ancient people are really hardworking! But there was a bare field beside this large field, that was fully covered with weeds.

Looks like someone is slacking off...

You should know that if you don’t work hard, you will have no food or money. It is the same concept in both modern and ancient times.

    "Ah──!"  A sudden cry of pain shocked her heart. She looked down, and saw a man... A muscular body-size man, like Hulk...

Er.... It was not that serious, but you can see that the man’s face has turned green.

    “Have you been poisoned?”

    “I just got bitten by a viper.”

    “Oh! Then quickly suck the poison out!”  She said kindly.

    “But ....”

    “Why but? I did too much bad things previously that’s why I ended up here. Well, since this is a fate that I bump into you. Consider yourself lucky, I will save you.”

Ever since she met that little ant- Xiao San, she knew that she shouldn’t take life lightly and should not take things for granted.

That’s why older people always remind every younger generations – Do good deed no matter how small it could be, and don’t do evils even for small little things.

She vowed that she would do more good deeds whenever she had the chance, otherwise she would be afraid of going to hell. Especially what she had just encountered - seeing the little ant spirit, she finally understands there are actually God & Ghost exist in this world.

    “Miss, you’re so kind-hearted! Is really rare to see in this world.”

    “Haha, is that a compliment? Are you telling me that I have this good and kind heart behind my pretty face?” Ding Xiang winked her eyebrow while speaking. His statement also made her in great mood, of course she would help him.

    “Err.....”  Woa-woa-woa ..... There are actually girls who are so bold. Not feeling any kind of embarrassment at all even though boasting about themselves.

Ancient ladies had always been trained to behaved in soft-spoken and good manners attitude.

The uniqueness of Ding Xiang immediately caught the injured man’s attention. He had never seen such a special girl in his country.

    “Where is the bite?”  She asked the man. She was so ready and would absolutely suck out the poison completely and perfectly for him. No matter what kind of snake he got bitten by, how poisonous snake venom was, she will certainly suck it out for him.

    But the other party seemed to be a little dilemma.  “Err .....”

    “Er .....?” She followed him “Why? What’s there to be shy about? Are you a man? This is very rare opportunity that I offer to help, do you know that...”

Ding Xiang couldn’t help but thinking angrily : Thousands of miles away from my home and come to ancient times. Helping a stranger to suck out venom. You just don’t know how lucky you are Mister... Helloo, be a man! Cherish your blessings.

    "I.... Ah── …."

    Hearing men groaning infront of themselves, indeed a very shy thing. But she can’t make a fuss about it, otherwise will be laughed upon.

   “Why do you want to groan with that kind of voice? If other people heard it, they will laugh at you.”  She also approached him deliberately and whispered to him: “Would you like me to call everyone to hear you scream?”

    “Y_ you ......”  Why is this girl like this!

    “Do you want me to?”

Her intimidation may have had an effect. See the man gritting his teeth, endure the pain, and stop groaning.

    “I don’t scream.”

    “Um .. Good!”  She couldn’t help but reach out her hand and touch his head, without even realizing that it was inappropriate for her to do so.

The man's eagle eyes in the dark seemed brighten and crystal clear. They are shaken by her natural movements, staring straight at her.

    “C’mon, hurry up! Poison doesn’t wait for anyone. If you going to die here, don’t be like that ant, said it’s my fault and put the blame it on me!”

    “But where I was bitten by the poisonous snake, was kinda inappropriate for a girl ......”

    “Don’t be such a pussy, hurry up, or I’ll flight!”  She treated him as like a total disobedient kid.

The man sighed.

In fact, he didn’t want to die like this. He had no other choice but have to do this ..... He promise that he will compensate her well afterwards.

    “The bite is in ...... “

    “Where?”

    “The male root under me.”
